Anthony Braxton / Ann Rhodes
(2-CD set) GTM music stands for Ghost Trance Music. Ann Rhodes is a classically trained soprano specializing in experimental music, improvisation, and collaboration with composers. In addition to coloratura agility and bel canto lyricism that stems from her classical background, Rhodes brings a warm chest voice and a variety of extended vocal techniques to her music-making, drawing in part on the study of jazz, South Indian voice, and shape-not singing.
