Notoriety
Marius Nordal
Nordal's technical mastery of the piano is immediately apparent, and his arrangements are highly original. Nordal plays a whole lot of piano," and like all great music, the rewards are ultimately humbling, and greatly appreciated." Earshot Magazine. In the tradition of Art Tatum, Oscar Peterson, Phineas Newborn, and with a little Keith Jarrett for seasoning, Nordal's immense piano skills are tempered with a rich musicality that will excite any mainstream jazz fan. Originally released in 1997.
