A two time veteran of The Larry Stephenson Band and now with the award winning Grascals, Kristin Scott Benson released her second solo album in 2008. Second Season is the followup to her first solo effort Straight Paths. Kristin's fantastic banjo picking is complimented on the album by some of the most talented instrumentalists and vocalists in today's bluegrass scene. As Sonny Osborne says, 'Her great banjo playing...which rates her within the top 5 ...only tells part of the story.' This release has led to Kristin being named the IBMA Banjo Player Of The Year in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Features Wayne Benson, Shad Cobb, Larry Cordle, Mickey Harris, Sally Jones, Cody Kilby, Larry Stephenson, Josh Williams, and Jim Van Cleve.
