Henry Cow

Vol.7: Later & Post-virgin Henry Cow

A collection of live performances from late 1976-77. 'Joan' & 'On Suicide', traditionally associated w/ Art Bears & Hopes and Fears (1978), are featured here, showing they were Henry Cow songs long before Art Bears existed. Chris Cutler wrote the original lyrics for 'Joan' & Tim Hodgkinson's 'The Pirate Song', but the group were unhappy with them, & the songs were withdrawn from Henry Cow's repertoire.
