The Iraq war designed to secure oil supplies had a significant military presence to dissuade other oil producers from moving towards the euro as an oil transaction currency. These were the two crucial elements for maintaining control over the world economy. Reconverting Iraq back to the petrodollar the critical issue and preventing any further momentum towards a petro-euro was vital to the current oil commodity. While deceiving the people into war, it sent a message to other oil producers-"You are either with us or against us."
