At a young age Leya had to face trials and adversity: childhood abuse, abandonment, depression, and unsuccessful suicide attempts. Along the way Leya learned to lean and trust in God and no matter how hard life got or may seem she tried to always turn to God. Throughout her life Leya continued to overcome life's struggles but with the support of close friends and God Leya always survived. Leya helps us to understand even with life's unexpected turns there is still victory. Leya learns through life that God might not fix everything, the situation might not change or get any better but with Jesus you will always persevere. Live Through It is the story of a woman's journey through life with faith, and ambition while never giving up on her dreams.
