Tau Effect Brian M Birkland

The Tau Effect original complete epic (Volumes I, II, III) rearranged in chronological order. There is no new previously unpublished, expanded, or abridged content contained within this release. It is a rearrangement of chapters which sequences the events (over 40+ years) into chronological order beginning in 1986. While it is recommended that you read the original series (white cover complete edition or individual novels) first, this edition will make sense on its own as well. To reiterate, there is no new content included within this edition. However those familiar with the series have requested a version in which the flashbacks happen in sequence, so that they can piece together all of the red herrings and plot intricacies in order. Volumes 1-3 of the Tau Effect Series: As Oceans Fall, The Mantle Stirs, A Brave Young Titan. Andrew is a loner. Bullied as a kid, he's always been eager to help the helpless. But odd plastic messages, which seem to have been hidden long ago by his dead father, cause him to have painful visions of unfamiliar places. Fearful he will hurt others, he attempts to control and conceal the unusual seizures as he attempts to connect with the last remaining pieces of a father he never knew. Sometime around eighth grade, Andrew learns of a strange new disaster in the South Pacific. A dark spot has appeared in the water in the middle of nowhere. Scientists are baffled as to the origin and powerless to stop its growth. Mysterious authority figures begin to take interest in Andrew's secret messages, obsessed with proving that he is somehow connected to the oceanic calamity. Spanning more than forty years, the Tau Effect series is an epic adventure that masterfully blends mystery, suspense, and dystopian elements in a remarkable alternate-present world. Ethically evocative and touching from the start, each chapter immerses the reader further into the mind of an unraveling hero as the world around him seems to be devolving along with him. Andrew, the protagonist of Tau Effect, is a tribute to a real-life anonymous infant heart donor. This epic is inspired by the spirit of a true champion whose fearless sacrifice touched many lives and will never be forgotten. Tau Effect is an exciting adventure for anyone with the capacity to believe that even the tiniest courageous gestures can profoundly impact humanity.
