Loyiso Mtya
...a story so real it reads like fiction.
Anyone who has ever been in a boxing ring would know, after a couple of punches, knock outs and black outs, very few boxers have lived to tell their story. With a life that spans over 40 years both in and out of the ring, the account of South African boxing great Loyiso Mtya is a story well worth telling.
As any professional boxer who has worn a pair of gloves would tell you, when they started, all they ever wanted was world fame and fortune, but little did they know it comes at the cost of blood, sweat and tears. Loyiso Mtya tells a personal story of his experience in the world of boxing. And if you read between the lines, you will find a wealth of history and interesting accounts of the key players who made South African boxing what it is today.
Once the boxing bug stings, you stay stung.
