Broken But God
Priscilla Haley
How do you keep on going--how do you keep on living--when your past has left you broken? How do you keep on loving when the men of your past have hurt you? How do you keep trusting God when all you can pray is "Why, God, did you allow such terrible things to happen to me?"
Priscilla Haley wrestles with these questions in Broken But God. As she pours out her life story, her prayer is that others who have been broken and abused, as she was, can freely forgive their abusers, forgive themselves, allow God to heal their wounds, and become whole to walk boldly in their purpose. Her powerful testimony--about how, despite all the horrors she has been through, God has always been and continues to be there for her--is uplifting and inspiring.
As it says in Genesis 50:20, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."
