My Name Is Angelo
Angelo Dirks
On October 3, 2006, a skinny black and white dog walked up to a shed in the middle of nowhere and decided to befriend a broken man. In the dozen years since, they've built an off-grid house together, walked more than 20,000 miles, and survived blizzards, rattlesnakes, and bears. They've published some two dozen books of fiction, short stories, non-fiction, and photographs.. At last, Angelo the Border Collie has a chance to tell his own story. In a memoir that is forthright and intelligent, spiced with a bit of humor, he tells of his life before and after he met The Man and Maggie the Black Labrador. This concise memoir includes fifty pages of spectacular photographs of Angelo and his companions in Colorado's largest alpine valley.
