Cattle Prod follows introverted sophomore Nic Walenti as he tries to figure out the least painless way to get through high school. Nic would rather just sit in his room and watch movies but is inspired by a girl to maneuver from the soccer team, where he had a permanent position on the bench, to the field goal kicker of the football team. In between he deals with bullies, working a crappy fast food job and trying to remain anonymous in the halls of Lindsburg Catholic.
