Recursos is a study of difficult Spanish vocabulary with the use of mnemonic devices. The porpoise will be remembered for her purpose and the poodle because of his lost marbles. If the Spanish word for cow is known, the word for cod is not odd. Behind a little silliness is a serious memory tool. The mnemonic devices in Recursos come with rhyme, alliteration, English references, spelling clues and underlying reason. Recursos contains four sections with fifty short paragraphs. Each paragraph is followed by an English translation. These exercises took my Spanish to the next level. I hope that you enjoy them too!
