A Historia Do Nordeste / O Nordeste Na Voz De / Lua

This release presents three albums by Gonzaga: A História do Nordeste na Voz de Luiz Gonzaga, O Nordeste na Voz de Luiz Gonzaga, and Lua. The last one was Gonzaga's first album specifically recorded for LP format (all of his previous LPs had been compilations of 78s and singles). There is quite a lot of variety on this album, reflecting how Gonzaga was simultaneously "inventing" a genre of music and also constantly expanding its boundaries.
