Earth Wind & Fire is one of the most musically accomplished, critically acclaimed, and commercially popular funk bands in music history. With an all-encompassing musical vision that used funk as it's foundation, but incorporated jazz, soul, gospel, pop, rock & roll, psychedelia, blues, folk, African music, and later on, disco - they have changed the face of popular music consistently for over 30 years. Illumination is their 2005 album featuring duets with a host respected artists including Floetry, Rapheal Saadiq, Will. I. Am, Kelly Rowland, Musiq and more of whom were themselves influenced by Earth Wind & Fire. BMG.
