ATMA Classique is proud to announce the release of the first in a new series of recordings devoted to the symphonies of Jean Sibelius, with Yannick Nézet-Séguin at the helm of the Orchestre Métropolitain de Montréal.

Artistic director and head chef of OM since 2000, Yannick Nézet-Séguin is one of the most in-demand chefs in the world. In September 2018, he became the third musical director of the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Music Director of the Philadelphia Orchestra since 2012, he has been named Honorary Conductor of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and served as Music Director from 2008 to 2018.
