Clear the Confusion Messengers

'The Messengers' is a 9-member jazz/funk ensemble that plays original music by our members and contemporary arrangements of traditional gospel hymns. We are based in Houston, Texas. In June of 2007 we took a mission trip & concert tour to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. While there we performed and gave our testimonies in prisons, schools, churches, and other venues. We play with David and Jessica Ray for Tallowood's EnterChange services several times a year, and have performed at other venues in the Houston area. In November of 2008, we won first prize at the UBA TalentFest, an annual songwriters competition. In the Fall of 2008 we recorded our first album, entitled 'Clear the Confusion', which was released in March of 2009. The Summer of 2009 will also be bringing a mission trip to Lisbon, Portugal.
