Lillian Axe

Lillian Axe was a massively underrated melodic metal band from New Orleans. The classic line-up came together when former Stiff members, Ron Taylor (lead vocals) and Jon Ster (rhythm guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), teamed up with Lillian Axe members Steve Blaze (lead guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Rob Stratton (bass guitar), and Danny King (drums) in 1987. One of the highlights of this record was the opening track "Dream Of A Lifetime", released as the band's first single. Lillian Axe had real talent, but sadly peaked at a time where talent wasn't really taken into consideration. Check it out and discover something great that you probably missed the first time around.
