In the wake of Monica Zetterlund's string of best-selling albums released between 1989-1993 (Monica Z, Varsamt and Topaz), the idea was born to record a selection of songs from these albums in English for a global audience. For unknown reasons, the project was never finalised and the tapes from the recordings were forgotten.

Almost three decades later, by coincidence, chief engineer Janne Hansson came across these tapes labelled "Monica Z English". And now we finally get the result of Monica's English recording project on the album "Here's to life - Monica Z at Atlantis and Polar Studios", containing 9 carefully selected cuts.
