Beethoven: Symphony No. 7. Piano Concerto No. 4

This album of Beethoven, pairing the Symphony No 7 with the Piano Concerto No 4, is the first fruit of a multi-year agreement between Warner Classics, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and its Chief Conductor Lahav Shani - here also taking on the role of pianist. In October 2019, when this Beethoven programme was performed in Baden-Baden, Bachtrack wrote: "If everything in Beethoven's anniversary year sounds as fresh and inspired as the interpretations we heard from Lahav Shani and his orchestra, then there will be no cause for boredom in the world's concert halls."
