Romantic television miniseries based on the original fairy tale 'Beauty and the Beast' by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve. When a sea merchant loses all of his wealth, he promises the wealthy Prince Leon (Alessandro Preziosi) that one of his daughters will arrive at his castle to live with him, in return for clearing his debts. The beastly prince falls for the daughter, Bella (Blanca Suárez), and soon the two fall in love.

But when jealousy begins to intervene in their romance, will they overcome it and live happily ever after?
