Peanut the Ballerina

An eleven-year-old girl's discovery of a healthier body image through dancing ballet. Nicknamed 'Peanut' by her ballet teacher, she is aware of the taller & leaner bodies of her fellow dancers, but is content being the 'short & squatty' one in class. Her surprising role in their ballet recital, however, and the response and encouragement of others, helps her see that there's more to her than she thought. It's truly what's on the inside, not the outside, that counts.
