STARLIGHT is a collection of poems about love, loss, heartbreak, and many other hardships. It is about a search for truth and answers during the Dark Night of the Soul. Life can be a constant battle, like fitting into a dress we just don't fit into. The dress is too tight, we can't breathe in it. It's a struggle to get in and out of it, every day. I do believe pain is helping us to find our way back to a better, more authentic life, "a dress which fits". I didn't shy away from telling it like it is. Therefore, I call it "raw poetry", hoping it will open a door for us to be more authentic about our fears, our despair, and the transformation that is going to be part of our lives eventually. Sometimes the world can be a dark and cold place. During this time I want to give you a home in my poetry.
