The Woman Every Man Wants

What Defines a Virtuous woman? The first thing we need to understand is the meaning of the word virtuous. The word virtuous comes from the word charity, which means, a force, wealth, virtue, valor, strength, ability, might, power, riches, worthy. Basically, the words represent value. This is especially important for men and women alike. Few understand their value in God's eyes. Women, who do not know their value and their worth, make themselves susceptible to oppression, anxiety, and depression. Proverbs 31:10 asks the question, "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. "Notice the Bible speaks and makes a comparison of her "price" or value. The following verses of Proverbs 31 go on to describe this "virtuous woman." A godly woman possesses something that this world cannot offer nor can it be found in a worldly woman and that is a relationship with Christ. She has the ability to be a godly influence on her family& relationship. Much of what children believe and do is based on what they are taught in their homes. A godly mother's influence and direction cannot be measured in material terms or means. If you have a godly mother, you are rich. So we must understand that becoming the woman god wants me to be, the woman he describes in Proverbs 31, is not an impossible dream. It's the only goal worthy of a woman's life's devotion. A WOMAN WAS THE FINISHED WORK OF GRACE OF GOD'S CREATION. A Woman was the completeness of man's bliss in God's divine order of creation. The woman was the cause of sin and death in our world. The world was redeemed by the Seed of the woman. A woman is the mother of the human race. She is either our companion, counselor, and comforter in the pilgrimage of life; or she is our tempter, scourge, and destroyer. Our sweetest cup of earthly happiness or our bitterest draught of sorrow is mixed and administered by her hand. She not only renders smooth or rough our path to the grave but helps or hinders our progress to immortality. In heaven we shall bless God for her aid in assisting us to reach that blissful state; or amidst the torments of unutterable woe in another region, we shall deplore the fatality of her influence... My subject is religion; my object is the soul; my aim is salvation. I view you, my female friends, as destined agents of change to your families and the world; and it is my business to aid and stimulate you by patient continuance in well-doing to seek for glory, honor, and immortality and to obtain eternal life. I look beyond the painted and gaudy scene of earth's fading vanities to the everlasting ages through which you must exist in torment or bliss and God helping me it shall not be my fault if you do not live in comfort, die in peace, and inherit salvation. We want to be women who, in every area of our lives, are controlled by the Word of God.
