Physiological Changes in Retinal Sensitivity with Ageing M. Syamala Devi

The author has depicted the normal pattern of visual field retinal sensitivity with respect to age and gender and therefore established normal values at different ages. Henceforth, it is a modest attempt that this information may be used by clinicians as a guide to estimate the level of visual performance expected for a normal subject of a known age and determine whether a subjects visual function is above or below that of expected for an average age matched normal control.
