In 1960s Hollywood, Gus Blomqvist was one of the biggest producers around. Then an expensive flop put him on the outs with the studios. When's he given another chance for a hit, he jumps at the chance. There's just one problem: he needs to cast his ex-wife and America's Sweetheart, Lizzy Siskind. But when he finds out Lizzy is pregnant, he has to find someone to take her place. After a visit to a Gypsy woman, Gus takes a potion to make him into an exact duplicate of Lizzy.
