To Cross That Bridge

For Frank Roselli, his life has been good! He is in his late thirties, a rather tall, swarthy handsome man, and is a best-selling author in New York, New York. His newly published romance novel has come out and is selling well. He lives in West Greenwich Village and has a beautiful live-in girlfriend, a great best friend, a pit bull of an agent, and even his ex-wife has been pleasant. This early summer evening, though, is anything but pleasant. He has just read a "Dear John" note from his girlfriend. She has dumped him for his best friend. As he reads, they are jetting their way to Los Angeles. A permanent change of location! Darcy Darden is an attractive woman in her thirties and a recent resident of Manhattan (from Ohio) and lives in West Greenwich Village. She is a journalistic photographer and had applied to several large publications. To her delight, she has been hired by The New York Times -- if you want to be the best, you work for the best. She is tenacious and a quite good photographer who loves her work. That's why The Times hired her. However, you never know what can come around the next corner. When Frank and Darcy literally run into each other this evening in the West Village, there is no indication or intention of how this could change their lives! After several weeks, however, they do come to know each other, figuratively and exactly. With Darcy's job, it seems she becomes a target for ruthless factions. Has to do with middle-east thugs ... and Richard Collins, her ex-husband! He has recently been released from a medium security prison in Ohio. The unsure, deceitful actions of her ex-husband are the main concerns -- the mystery! NYPD Detectives Scarpetti and Millard have become keys in the mystery. One thing leads to another ... all is suspect!! Love can be a dubious emotion. It can be fantastically blissful or it can smash a heart to smithereens! It can take a few bridges to cross to find the bridge that is the best one. "To Cross That Bridge" has romance, dilemmas, crime and mystery! A good read!
