Lectio Divina offers a structure for meditating on the Bible. It is an unhurried approach. Participants savor a few verses at a time. God's Word permeates your spirit. God relates to you as you wait on Him. The end result of this exercise is not more knowledge or information but communion with God through His living Word. Lectio Divina is an ancient way of reading a passage in the Bible several times. It can be practiced alone or with a group. It includes four readings of the same passage, with an emphasis on listening, meditation, responding and contemplation.
