Use this book to score highly on the GRE math section. These 180 advanced math questions will help the advanced student to turn around his GRE math score! There are three topics covered by the GRE: (1) Analytical Writing Measure (essay writing); (2) Verbal Reasoning Measure (questions primarily involving reading comprehension, vocabulary, and some logical analysis); and (3) Quantitative Reasoning Measure (math). The Analytical Writing Measure is always the first measure you encounter on the test. This means that you will draft both 30-minute essay tasks first. After the essays, you will encounter question sets. There will be two sections of the Verbal Reasoning Measure. Each section allows you 30 minutes to answer approximately 20 questions. There are also two Quantitative Reasoning Measure sections; each section allows you 35 minutes to solve approximately 20 math problems.
