Mrs. Lukewarm

INTRODUCTION The purpose of writing this Bible tract (leaflet or pamphlet) is to alert you to some recent new found discoveries concerning the term and definition of Lukewarm. Some topics are best explained when you boil down the facts from 200 pages to ten or twenty. By keeping down the bare facts to 20 pages or so I can mass produce the good news in bulk without having to dig deep into my pockets. The so-called Greek father of history Herodotus reported: "All the gods have been known in Egypt from the begging of time with the exception of Poseidon, Hera, Heslia, themis, the Graces and the Nereids" Book 2:50. I'm interested in Nerids because he gave birth to all the sea nymphs or water goddess in greek mythology in which I will explain shortly. Sometimes the Bible can be read interdentally or by crossover to pick up on clues. Lets turn to Colossians 4:14-15 where the words Luke and Laodicea appear together like in Rev chapter 3. "Our dear friend Luke, the doctor, and Demas send greetings. Give my greetings to the brothers at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house". According to Bible dictionaries Nympha means "gift of the nymphs". Like I said before nymphs are water goddess. Its no accident that Lukewarm was a reference to the temperature of water. Lukewarm is classified as a deed so its no strange stretch that we can link its term to a water goddess. We already can literaly link the Lukewarm church at Laodicea to Nympha which means a water goddess. All we have to do is go through the list of greek nymphs and find a match with Luke. I hit a match in the data with a chick named Leukothea whose name refers to the white waves and or white foam of the sea. Her behavior, acts and deeds match up with some of the themes of the Lukewarm church that was spiritually blind and spiritually naked. Leukothea's use of clothes to save people is the key to the link. Homer in the Odyssey reports that Leukothea saves the sailor Odysseus who strips off his clothes on a raft and is given a scarf by Leukothea who uses her waves to dock him on the land (The Odyssey 5:332-357). Euripides wrote a lost play called Ino-Leukothea that tells the tale of Leukothea who switches her children clothes from black to white after learning of a murder plot of her kids. This is in line with the request that the Laodicea Church put on some white (Leukos) clothes. The people in Laodicea grew rich from selling the highly sought after glossy black wool from its textile industry. With that I invite you to my pamphlet.
