I was twenty years old when I met him. The attraction and feelings that I had for him were only outweighed by the fright I felt in his presence. All I was looking for was a friend, a possible love interest, but all that changed when he brought madness into my world with threats of conspiracies, violence and organized crime. I believed everything he said and the seeds of his words grew into my reality. Then one night, I realized that my life was forever changed. Because they were watching me. They were following my every move. Nothing seemed safe or real anymore. Unknown substances in my food and water, the thought and fear of a violent death. It was a dark, twisted and confusing time. There was something big going on, and only the rage that infused my desire for revenge got me through it day after day. Was all this real? Could it possibly be true? One thing I knew for sure, is that it all began the night the dark stranger came into my life and into my mind.
