This is a diary of farming in the nineteen fifties in Cornwall. The farm is a two hundred and ninety acre property, owned by the Trescoe family. The farm has been farmed by the Trescoes for five generations. The year that is defined in this book is nineteen fifty eight. The reason for this is that the author was farming in Cornwall at that time and most of the events described were experienced by him. This particular year was a year of exceptional weather as you will discover during the reading of this, the third book published by the author. Enjoy!
