Fact: Life is perfect. Ok. Life isn't perfect. Or is it? It isn't. Well, not exactly. Well, at least I'm finally where I want to be. New town, new school, new friends. A new gorgeous boyfriend. My best friend only a few houses away. What more can a girl want?Ever since I got here, I feel like I'm living another life. It's almost an out of body experience. I'm going to West Pacific High ever since I got here and, thanks to my best friend Kim, I already have a ton of friends and my own column at the school paper. My days in the Big Apple are definitely over. I'm now a sixteen year old Heartman's Bay Girl. Is This Love is a teen dramedy series that follows and chronicles the lives of a group of friends living in the upscale community of Malibu, California, as they go from high school to college. The premise of Is This Love is based on the adjustment and culture shock that the main character experience when she and her parents move from New York City to Malibu, California. Is This Love chronicles the characters' friendships and romantic relationships and address topical, insightful and timeless matters such as same sex love, betrayals, alcohol, eating disorders, racism, bullying, pregnancy and so many others that all yong adults face, despite social economic status, country and culture. The story begins in media res with Juliet already in Malibu, a couple of months after leaving New York City with her parents. The story begings the day before the new high school party that will turn Juliet's life upside the head!
