Buried Sins

Detective Marsden Reed believes that murder is rarely just one isolated incident, rather, it is a series of events that culminates in the taking of a life. In December of 1896, Chicago theater owner Harold Madden takes his friend Detective Reed to his theater for a birthday celebration. When a famous headliner, Anna Lemoyne becomes ill under suspicious circumstances, Madden asks Reed to investigate off the record. It is a case of betrayal, revenge and love that leads him into the dark recesses of the human soul.
