Coal Fired Power Generation Potential of Balochistan: Potential of Coal

Balochistan produces 40.2 % of the primary energy of Pakistan in the form of Natural gas coal and electricity. Still we are facing Energy crises. To resolve energy crises Renewable energy resources might help in remote areas . Renewable technologies will surely reduce pressure on fossil fuels reserves, trees and shrubs. The unexploited coal resources of Pakistan may generate more than 1, 00,000 MW of electricity for the next 20 years by converting coal to a clean gas, which can then be burned like natural gas with combined-cycle turbine.
