Publisher Marketing: Includes solutions to all of the problems at the end of each chapter. Topics include types of amplifiers and design factors that affect bandwidth and frequency response, types of coupling including electronic networks and transformers, impedance considerations and how to tailor impedance to the requirements of the circuit; the use of positive and negative feedback in design of multistage circuits, the use of phase splitters in designs, low and high frequency compensation schemes, and applications of differential amplifiers and op amps. There are sections specific to audio amplifiers, video amplifiers, RF amplifiers, and the book concludes with a section on Magnetic Amplifiers and how to control inductance by design, including core windings, types of cores, etc. There is a glossary of terms and a detailed index at the back.
