Science, Evolution and God

Publisher Marketing: The Bible says: "Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his word, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar." (Proverbs 30:5). That is the whole truth. Whatever knowledge any of us attains in this life is made possible by God and Him alone. There is nothing to learn unless He gives us an insight into something. He created knowledge; He leads us to it; He allows us to learn it by helping us decipher it; He helps us to commit it to our memory; and finally, He helps us to retain it by safeguarding it within our memory. And when it is time to apply the knowledge, He helps us retrieve it and apply it proficiently and profitably. Therefore, the claim that life autonomously emanated from dormant lifeless matter and developed into intricately designed microscopic cells which autonomously diversified into discrete and sophisticated structures and functionality is simply a fantasy, and a maddening attempt to discredit the divine power that exquisitely designed and brought forth life and created an infinite diversity and set the course for its replication and perpetuity. Remember: "Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his word, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar." Everything is whatever God says it is. And listen to the following passage from the Book of Isaiah and be convinced: ..". I am the Lord, and there is none beside me." (Isaiah 45:6). Science, astronomy, medicine, computers science, law, engineering and all the other fields of study in this world are not as important to your life as the information contained in the Book of Revelations in the Holy Bible, part of which is summarized in this chapter. You can be a Christian and a scientist or an astronomer or any other specialist. If you make God the foundation of your life, and obey the commands of His Son Jesus Christ, it does not matter what field or study or career you are in, God will make straight your path and keep your feet from being snared. You will not be swayed by every wind of argument because you are firmly anchored in your faith in the only God there is. Many have used knowledge of science and astronomy to incorrectly claim that there is no God, but the Bible warns: "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." (Proverbs14:2). The Bible also says: "Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law." (Proverbs 29:18). Our subjective realities will never become substitutes for the truth of God and of Jesus Christ His Son, who shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary to redeem you and I from our sinful nature, and make us sons and daughters of the living God. Your career is important and knowledge is good. And it is God's express Will and desire that you acquire knowledge. The Bible says: "It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way." (Proverbs 19:2). Before you were created by God, He had assigned a place to you and strongly desires that you find your place and do well in this life and in the one to come. Not only did God create you to succeed in life, He maintained His presence in you through your spirit. He is always with you whether you acknowledge Him or not. The very life inside of you is the spirit that is of God. That you breathe, think, plan or perform is Him. You make your own choices through the will He has given to you and He ensures that your will is carried out, making you wholly responsible for all your actions, good or bad. It is the choices we make that determine our successes and failures in life. That is why God tells us to: "Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob." (Deut 30:19-20). Contributor Bio:  Chukwujama, Ifeanyi ABOUT THE AUTHOR It is by the power of God through faith in His Son Jesus Christ that this book was written. I have been on a spiritual journey for most of my adult life, trying to figure out who I am and why I am the way I am. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, working for several years in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry. I am currently in internet sales. I have always been willing to acquire knowledge and for a long time thought it was all I needed to succeed in life. Then I stepped into the world of manufacturing and business, hoping to make a fortune because I have acquired what I thought was good amount of vital knowledge. But success proved to be elusive. Venture after venture and failure after failure, I stopped many times to figure out what I was doing wrong. Yet I found no answers that made sense. When I listen to successful business people on the news who have made it in business, I say to myself, "You have done that, too, but it did not lead to the same success." Finally through my struggles to have a business success, I realized that there is more to life than wealth, and that I have not set my priorities right. Even though, I have been conscientious in dealing with others and I've held God in High regards in my life, I have failed to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I have always acknowledged His involvement in my life but I have not always placed Him first in my life, nor have I made Him my exclusive source for everything. I, therefore, turn my attention to discovering God's Will for me and learning how to walk daily with Christ. And everything began to come together in my life. I began to trust my spirit and follow its directions. Then I published my first book, a fiction, titled 'The Naked Love', in dedication to the innocence of the young woman whose experience with love is the subject of the book. Shortly after that, I felt God was steering me to His service --- I made a private vow to Him many years before to serve Him, if He would send me. In this period, God was constantly putting things in my spirit. Scriptures I read when I was a teenager, all of a sudden, began to inundate my life. I started studying the Bible and His messages to me grew more intense. I received one revelation after another in very rapid succession, and finally, this book happened, my second book. The revelations came in my dreams, in my showers, in my rest and in my wakefulness.
