Tales of the Starpeople: the Seafarers

When 16 year old Westly tells Talia his story on a moonlit night onboard a pilfered ship, and she replies that she too believes in Starpeople, it is set into motion a series of events that begins the adventure of a lifetime. With the abused native girl by his side and a love strong enough to survive death, he steals her away to safety that very night. Combining magic and mystery in a monumental tale of storms and treasure, love and treachery, Westly and Talia are chased across the Caribbean by an angry and powerful man; they seem always to be just one step ahead of an unforgiving sea as well as Talia's vengeful husband. Shortly after a dawn attack when their ship is destroyed, while buying another in Havana, Westly relents to Talia's frantic bidding to rescue two young Mayan boys being abused aboard a nearby slave ship.
