Deck 1 features memory verses from the Old Testament, including "In the beginning God made / the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1), "The Lord is / my shepherd" (Psalm 23:1), and "Trust in the Lord / with all your heart" (Proverbs 3:5).
