Die Flippers were a German Schlager-band formed in Baden-Württemberg, they existed from 1964 to 2011. The band sold a total of 24 gold and 5 platinum albums, making them the most successful German schlager band of all time. In 1969 Bernd Hengst and Franz Halmich wrote the song "Weine Nicht, Kleine Eva" (nowadays considered a classic), which was a huge hit in Germany. In 1970 the band releases "Sha La La, I Love You", a translation from the Dutch band The Shuffles, and this single is another huge hit in Germany.
